Holi is a festival that celebrates the arrival of spring. It is also often known as as the festival of colors. Though it is an ancient Hindu festival, it is now celebrated worldwide by Hindus and non-Hindus alike. The festival signifies the triumph of good over evil, the end of winter, and the arrival of spring. Most Holi celebrations involve throwing colored powder at friends and family, often followed by a water fight. Our Holi celebration will provide 250 pounds of colored powder for everyone to celebrate the end of the semester and the arrival of the warmer weather!
